Terms of Service

Terms governing your use of the YASHICOM website and our AI consulting and digital transformation services.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at yashicom.co.uk (the “Site”) and any consulting, advisory, or delivery services provided by YASHICOM LTD (“YASHICOM”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Site or services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

1. Use of the website

You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You must not use the Site to transmit any harmful, offensive, or unlawful content, or to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data. We may update, suspend, or discontinue the Site or any part of it at any time without notice. Content on the Site (including text, graphics, and branding) is owned by YASHICOM or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without our prior written consent, except for limited personal or internal use such as viewing and sharing links.

2. Services

Our AI consulting, data engineering, cloud, and related services are provided under separate agreements (e.g. statements of work, contracts) that define scope, deliverables, fees, and other terms. Nothing on the Site constitutes an offer to provide services until we have agreed terms in writing. Any engagement is subject to our standard commercial and confidentiality terms unless otherwise agreed.

3. Contact form and enquiries

When you submit an enquiry via our contact form or by email, we will use your details to respond and to discuss potential services. Your use of the contact form and any information you provide is also subject to our Privacy Policy. We do not guarantee a response within any particular time and we are not obliged to enter into a contract with you.

4. Disclaimers

The Site and any materials on it are provided “as is”. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any content is complete, accurate, or up to date. Information on the Site about our services and capabilities is for general information only and does not constitute professional advice. You should seek appropriate advice for your specific situation before relying on any such information.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, YASHICOM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the Site or from any reliance on its content. Our total liability to you in respect of the Site (and not under any separate service contract) shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred pounds sterling, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

6. Links to third parties

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites. Linking does not imply our endorsement. Use of third-party sites is at your own risk.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

8. Changes

We may change these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will be revised when we do. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For questions, contact us at hello@yashicom.co.uk.
